Overland Park, KS – In a statement released today, local education advocate Jason Anderson voiced strong opposition to House Bill No. 2612, currently under review by the House Committee on K-12 Education Budget. Anderson argues that the bill, intended to enhance accountability in the education system, unfairly targets public schools while exempting private and homeschooling sectors from similar scrutiny.
